Slip hinges are similar to the Butt Hinge, and consist of a male leaf with a fixed pin attached and a female leaf with no pin. The difference is that Slip hinges are sometimes referred to as "take apart hinges" or "slip joint hinges" and are a great solution when the frequent removal of a door is required. Slip Joint Hinges can be manufactured to a right or left hand hinge configuration.
