This creates high durability of anodized products resulting in an extremely long life span. Anodizing also does not chip or peel or show signs of wear from fabrication, handling or installation. Unlike other finishes, anodizing allows the aluminum to maintain its metallic appearance. It offers a large number of gloss and color alternatives and minimizes or eliminates color variations. Lastly, anodizing is a safe process that is not harmful to the environment. It is chemically stable, will not decompose, is non-toxic and is heat resistant to the melting point of aluminum (1,221 degrees F.) |
